After a period of studies and specializations in France, Deborah dedicated herself to reviving the Silk Road, to tell the world a new version of the facts, focusing on the reinterpretation of Brazilian culture with her expatriate perspective.
Since 2019, her research has revolved around the potential of silk as a thread of sensitive, durable, and transformative narrative, thus giving rise to Do Fio da Seda. Our Cocoon also seeks to associate silk weaves and its art with complex human relationships.
