The exhibition Natureza Tecida (Woven Nature), by artist and entrepreneur Sandra Anselmi, is now open for visitation in Farroupilha. The project takes place at Casa Anselmi, a historic 1934 house built in the style of immigrant residences \u2014 long dormant, yet never lifeless. Sandra describes the house as a living organism that \"breathes through the threads,\" with a past that still pulses through its spaces and details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe house breathes through the threads, with a past that pulses between wide stitches. There are fundamental forces that shape the world, just like in knitting \u2014 a form of knowledge that requires time, patience, and presence,\u201d \u2014 Sandra Anselmi.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Large-scale works made of knitted threads stretch across the three floors of the house and into the garden, creating a unique connection with nature. It's an invitation to pause, feel, and dive into the ancestral wisdom of the mycelium \u2014 the underground network that connects and nourishes life. A truly sensory and poetic experience that intertwines art, nature, and memory, inviting the public to see the invisible and feel what has been woven over time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 The exhibition is part of the 14th Mercosul Biennial, one of the leading contemporary art events in Latin America. The project aims to bring artworks to unconventional spaces such as artists\u2019 homes, schools, businesses, studios, and community centers across various cities in Rio Grande do Sul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sandra Anselmi\u2019s show is on view at Rua J\u00falio de Castilhos, 2560, in the Vicentina neighborhood of Farroupilha, Rio Grande do Sul. Open to the public from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., admission is free and no appointment is needed, offering easy access for those who wish to experience the delicacy and strength of contemporary textile art.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
